Behind the Brand

Hi, I'm Heather—founder and creator of Marietta! I was born and raised in Michigan, and somewhere between camping and playing sports, I developed a deep love for fashion and design. From working in retail to writing and styling for a local magazine, my fashion pursuits ultimately led me to New York City in 2012, where I've continued to grow my career ever since.

These days, I'm enjoying fashion as an enthusiast and jewelry designer. I love following trends, but I've learned to be more selective over the years, focusing on pieces that elevate what I already own. I gravitate toward styles that are versatile, easy, and timeless—think jeans, t-shirts, blazers, and oversized button-downs. While these classics are my foundation, it's the infusion of jewelry and accessories that keeps things fresh and interesting—which brings us to Marietta!
